Oh my god! What a superb series this is!! I love Ruby Medjo’s writing! All of her books are intensely beautiful and scorching hot. This series just dazzles above and beyond!

I finished reading ‘The Game‘ 4 months and 14 days ago and… I am still haunted by the emotional journey that shattered my heart into a million pieces, only to reconstruct it more beautifully than before…

Facing demons, embracing darkness, the trauma, fear, healing, consuming affection… my goodness, this was a whole package of darkness!

Starting with the prequel, it’s lovely how timid Alice finds her safe oasis amidst her two devils who would burn the world to protect her from its terrors. .

The Stefanov twins, step-brothers Tristan and Jameson will win your heart 💓with their profound understanding of Alice‘s trauma, sparing no effort to ensure she feels safe with them. The reassurance and consent makes the spice in this more beautiful and intense.

In their presence, Alice finds solace without the need for pretense or false smiles, because of the demons that plagued her mind.  They provide her with a sense of natural love and security. She feels cherished and protected, knowing that they would not allow any darkness or monster to dim the light in the eyes of their her.. their Babochka.

The Game:

This sequel immediately tugs at your heartstrings, starting with how Alice has lost herself to the very demons her devoted protectors fought to keep her safe from. All because she was hell determined to keep the men she loves safe!

And this unwavering determination leads her on a heart-wrenching and powerful evolving journey.

Oh my god… The relentless deep love that Alice feels for them and they feel for her in return will grip your heart so deeply, leaving an indelible mark.

And then there’s Teddy Poe .. oh my, a character impossible to forget! He embraces the darkness with such ownership that it draws you in, dispelling your own fears, just like he did for Alice.

Loved the entry of Maks Volkov! Betting you will too, my fellow dark readers. Eagerly waiting for his book next. Yes.. I am on a rant now, can’t help myself, 😉 these books are cathartic.
