Gravity – Sara Cate

Best Dark Romance Novel. Gravity by best selling author.

Oh God!! Gravity by bestselling author, Sara Cate brings out so many emotions that its a high-and-low rollercoaster ride. At first, when you read the blurb, maybe would be like how would the author pull this out? A romance triangle between an estranged father, a broken son, and a woman complex in her own grief.

But Sara Cate did an exceptional job! Wow… this had brokenness, loss, grief, guilt, and angst. The spice, connection, and intense love were oh soo… good.

She brought out the connection for Zara with both Nash and Alistair Wilde in a crazy but understandable and sensible way. It starts to make sense as you read, as how everything falls in place.

The engaging pace, back-and-forth rush of emotions, conflicting feelings arising just when your heart has been tugged at one side was aching, heart-warming and hot all at once.

Synopsis:

In the aftermath of a tragic flight crash that claims the lives of Zara’s twin sister Emma and her boyfriend Preston Wilde, Preston’s unraveling younger brother  Nash, finds himself on a path of self-destruction. In a bid to save Nash, Zara receives an unexpected proposal from Alistair Wilde, his father, and head of the wealthy Wilde clan. An unconventional arrangement where Zara must spend three transformative months with both of them on a secluded private island and help Nash from spiraling.

As Zara navigates her own intricate mourning she discovers that there are bonds of grief and guilt that tie her to both of them which are far more complex…

Kudos to the author for crafting a tale that fits so well in a messed-up yet exhilarating and beautiful way! The three of them navigating their lives in a broken and imperfect way tugs at your heartstrings. The journey to finding a way past their grief is a ride filled with heartaches.

A must-read if you love angsty, broken, sizzling, emotionally charged, turmoiled dark romances. I won’t let you on, on the ending which is a HEA and perfect! 😀
